The Tips

Three-piece Düsseldorf (DE) formation THE TiPS play a mix of Reggae, Rock, Punk and Soul. The young music talents’ laid-back sound channels California surf-rock & rock-reggae, leaning in the direction of pioneers like Sublime, Red Hot Chilli Peppers & Bad Religion. 

Their latest album TWISTS ’N’ TURNS, released early 2016, is produced by Alexander Beitzke (Jamiroquai, Ed Sheeran, Florence & The Machine) and mastered by Pete Maher (U2, Linkin Park, Lana Del Ray & Nine Inch Nails). The massive track ´Birds in trees´ features Benji Webbe from Skindred.
 
Singer and guitarist Aljoscha Thaleikis has spent some years in the USA, while drummer Janosch Holland and bassist Philip „Faf“ Pfaff come from the Skater scene. All in all, a great mix of innovative musicians. In the last two years THE TiPS have played over 130 shows in Europe, alongside bands like the Mad Caddies, Millencolin, Limp Bizkit, Jaya The Cat and many more.
